The fully automatic reversing unwinder is used to continuously feed materials into a production line.
It is used in the following production lines: coating, printing, or thermal calendering, as well as any type of finishing process where a consistent production speed is required.
The advantages of the AutoUnwind series lie in the variety of roll-holding and splicing systems available to meet different requirements. The parent roll can be held in place either with a tension shaft or “shaftless” using tension heads. The web connection, known as a “splice,” can be made using adhesive tape, thermal welding, or ultrasonic welding.
In addition, both the feeding of the core and the discharge of the empty sleeve can be performed automatically using a conveyor cart. Optionally, the material can also be trimmed.
