The machines of the ShortSlit Offline series are fully automatic short-roll winders designed for the efficient production of short finished rolls with very short cycle times. They are used as stand-alone offline solutions and can be equipped with automatic finished-roll handling systems.
A key advantage of the ShortSlit Offline series is the range of cross-cutting and web transfer systems available for different materials. These systems enable automatic square cross-cutting of the web and secure transfer of the new web onto a prepared or unprepared winding core. Depending on the application, coreless winding is also possible.
The unwind diameter can be flexibly adapted to the specific requirements of the application. To achieve maximum output and especially short cycle times, the machine can also be equipped with an additional web accumulator.
In addition, the ShortSlit Offline series is ideally suited for the production of longitudinally slit finished rolls. Depending on the application, manual or semi-automatic slitting systems are available.
