The machines of the ShortSlit Inline series are fully automatic short-roll winders designed for continuous converting directly downstream of a production line. They are specifically engineered for the production of short finished rolls with extremely short cycle times.
Finished-roll changeover takes place without interrupting the continuous production process. Core magazines and automatic finished-roll handling systems enable a highly automated process with minimal downtime.
A key advantage of the ShortSlit Inline series is the range of automatic cross-cutting and web transfer systems available for different materials. These systems automatically cross-cut the web and transfer the new web onto a prepared or unprepared winding core. The cores are supplied fully automatically from an integrated core magazine. Depending on the application, the machine can also be configured for coreless winding.
In addition, the ShortSlit Inline series is ideally suited for the production of longitudinally slit finished rolls. For this purpose, the machines are available with manual or semi-automatic slitting systems, depending on the application requirements.
