The machines in the MultiSlit series are semi-automatic roll slitting and winding machines that offer outstanding performance and can be expanded with a wide range of options.
The cut webs are wound on a single winding plane, with the webs being separated by spreader rolls.
A particular advantage arises from the combination of center and peripheral drive. This ensures a very consistent winding tension without exerting excessive stress on the roll core from the center. This is particularly advantageous for large winding diameters.
Automatic control systems are available as an option to simplify operation and reduce downtime.
Our handling system can also transfer the finished rolls to another handling system. The rolls are unloaded automatically and transported to the packaging station by robots or conveyor belts.
