The machines of the PaperSlit series are high-performance, fully automatic slitter rewinders designed for the efficient and highly productive processing of paper and similar roll materials.
Thanks to the turret rewinding principle, particularly short downtime and high production rates can be achieved. A key element is the automatic cross-cutting unit combined with fully automatic finished-roll changeover and automatic attachment of the web to the new core. This allows the rewinding process to continue with minimal interruption.
Another key advantage of the PaperSlit series is the combination of center and surface drive. This drive concept ensures controlled roll build-up and highly consistent winding hardness throughout the entire roll diameter.
Various automatic operating and handling systems are available as options. They simplify finished-roll handling, reduce manual operations, and minimize downtime.
In addition, the finished rolls can be automatically unloaded and transferred to downstream handling and packaging processes. Depending on the application, further transport can be carried out by robotic systems or conveyor systems all the way to the packaging station. This allows the PaperSlit series to be seamlessly integrated into fully automated production lines.
